Podium 1 Racing Turnkey Limited Warranty
1. Purpose and Applicability
This Podium 1 Racing Turnkey Limited Warranty applies to eligible Turnkey Simulator systems purchased directly from Podium 1 Racing.
This Limited Warranty covers certain defects in Podium 1 Racing workmanship, construction, assembly, integration, and eligible system components as described below.
Warranty coverage varies depending on whether the Turnkey Simulator is used in a
residential/personal environment or a commercial/public environment.
This warranty is separate from Podium 1 Racing's Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. Residential and Personal Use
For purposes of this warranty, Residential or Personal Use means a Turnkey Simulator
primarily operated in a private residence or other non-commercial environment and not regularly made available for use by the general public, customers, paying guests, or other commercial users.
Podium 1 Racing Chassis & Monitor Stand
Podium 1 Racing warrants the construction and workmanship of the original chassis and
monitor stand supplied as part of the Turnkey Simulator for a period of:
Five (5) years from the date of delivery.
Coverage applies to defects in materials, construction, welding, structural assembly, or
workmanship attributable to Podium 1 Racing.
Coverage is contingent upon the simulator being reasonably operated and maintained in
accordance with applicable Podium 1 Racing instructions, including the Podium 1 Racing
Servicing Guide.
Failure to perform recommended maintenance does not automatically terminate all warranty coverage. However, damage or failure caused or materially contributed to by improper maintenance, neglect, or failure to perform maintenance reasonably required by the Podium 1 Racing Servicing Guide is not covered.
The chassis and monitor stand warranty does not cover cosmetic deterioration, scratches, finishes, upholstery, normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, modification, impact damage, environmental damage, or other conditions not resulting from a covered defect in materials or workmanship.
Podium-Supplied PC
The original PC supplied as part of a residential Turnkey Simulator is covered by Podium 1
Racing for:
One (1) year from the date of delivery.
This coverage applies to covered hardware failures determined to result from a manufacturing defect, component defect, assembly defect, or other warrantable failure.
Software issues, operating-system corruption, viruses or malware, customer-installed software, unauthorized hardware modifications, overclocking, improper configuration, physical damage, liquid damage, power-related damage, and failures caused by misuse or environmental conditions are not covered unless otherwise determined by Podium 1 Racing.
Individual PC components may also carry separate manufacturer warranties that extend beyond Podium 1 Racing's one-year coverage period.
3. Commercial and Public Use
For purposes of this warranty, Commercial or Public Use includes operation of a Turnkey Simulator in a business, entertainment venue, simulator lounge, arcade, training facility, hospitality environment, event venue, retail environment, rental operation, public-access installation, or other setting where the system is regularly used by customers, guests, members of the public, employees, or multiple unrelated users.
Commercial use does not automatically exclude coverage for genuine manufacturing defects or defects in Podium 1 Racing's construction, assembly, integration, or workmanship. However, commercial systems are subject to shorter warranty periods and additional exclusions because of their increased frequency of use and exposure to multiple operators.
Podium 1 Racing Chassis & Monitor Stand - Commercial Use
The original chassis and monitor stand supplied with a commercially operated Turnkey
Simulator are covered for:
One (1) year from the date of delivery.
Coverage applies to defects in construction, structural assembly, materials, welding, or
workmanship attributable to Podium 1 Racing.
Damage or failure caused or materially contributed to by failure to perform maintenance
reasonably required by the Podium 1 Racing Servicing Guide is not covered.
Podium-Supplied PC - Commercial Use
The original PC supplied with a commercially operated Turnkey Simulator is covered by Podium 1 Racing for:
Six (6) months from the date of delivery.
Individual PC components may carry separate manufacturer warranties. Any manufacturer warranty remains subject to the individual manufacturer's terms, including any limitations or exclusions applicable to commercial use.
Commercial Wear, Damage & Abuse
Commercial use does not automatically exclude warranty coverage for a verified manufacturing defect or a defect in Podium 1 Racing's workmanship. However, the following are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered by
Podium 1 Racing's Limited Warranty:
- Accelerated wear resulting from high-frequency or continuous commercial use.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Physical damage.
- Impact damage.
- Damage caused by customers, patrons, guests, employees, or other operators.
- Excessive force or improper operation.
- Misuse, abuse, or negligence.
- Liquid or food damage.
- Improper cleaning or maintenance.
- Unauthorized modification or repair.
- Damage caused by operating a product outside of its intended specifications.
- Cosmetic deterioration that does not affect proper operation.
- Damage resulting from environmental conditions, power conditions, network conditions, or other external causes.
The existence of a failure during the warranty period does not by itself establish that the failure is a covered manufacturing defect.
4. Third-Party Components and Manufacturer Warranties
Turnkey Simulators incorporate components manufactured by third parties, which may include steering systems, pedals, motion systems, displays, computers and computer components, controls, seats, peripherals, audio equipment, and other hardware.
These components may be covered by separate warranties provided by their respective
manufacturers.
Manufacturer warranty coverage, duration, commercial-use limitations, exclusions, claim
requirements, and available remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer.
Podium 1 Racing cannot extend, alter, or guarantee warranty coverage offered by a third-party manufacturer.
When reasonably practicable, Podium 1 Racing will assist the original purchaser with identifying and processing applicable manufacturer warranty claims for components originally supplied as part of the Turnkey Simulator.
A manufacturer's approval or denial of a warranty claim is ultimately subject to that
manufacturer's warranty terms and determination.
Where a manufacturer provides coverage beyond Podium 1 Racing's applicable warranty
period, the customer may continue to have rights directly under the manufacturer's warranty.
5. Podium 1 Racing Workmanship and Integration
During the applicable warranty period, Podium 1 Racing warrants its original workmanship in assembling and integrating the Turnkey Simulator.
Covered workmanship may include, where applicable:
- Structural assembly performed by Podium 1 Racing.
- Installation of originally supplied components.
- Wiring and cable installation performed by Podium 1 Racing.
- Hardware integration.
- Original system configuration.
- Mounting of applicable components.
- Other workmanship directly performed by Podium 1 Racing as part of the original
Turnkey Simulator build.
This warranty does not cover problems caused by changes, modifications, repairs, relocations, disassembly, reassembly, installations, wiring changes, configuration changes, or other work performed after delivery by the customer or a third party when that work caused or materially contributed to the claimed failure.
6. Warranty Claim Evaluation
A component failure, damaged component, or system malfunction is not automatically
considered a covered warranty claim.
Podium 1 Racing reserves the right to evaluate each claim before determining warranty
eligibility.
As part of the evaluation process, Podium 1 Racing may require the customer to provide
reasonable information including:
- Photographs or video of the affected component.
- Serial numbers.
- System information.
- Diagnostic logs.
- A description of the failure and circumstances surrounding it.
- Remote access to the simulator or PC.
- Completion of troubleshooting procedures.
- Maintenance or servicing information where relevant to the failure.
- Return of the affected component for inspection or testing.
Podium 1 Racing may inspect, test, photograph, remotely diagnose, or request the return of a component before approving warranty coverage.
Failure to reasonably cooperate with required diagnostic or inspection procedures may prevent Podium 1 Racing from determining warranty eligibility.
7. Warranty Remedies
If Podium 1 Racing determines that a claim is covered under this Limited Warranty, Podium 1 Racing will determine the appropriate remedy based on the nature of the failure.
Available remedies may include:
- Remote troubleshooting or configuration assistance.
- Repair of the affected component.
- Replacement of the affected component.
- Shipment of a replacement component for customer installation.
- Manufacturer warranty processing.
- Bench repair performed by Podium 1 Racing.
- Another reasonable remedy determined appropriate by Podium 1 Racing.
Replacement components may be new, refurbished, remanufactured, or functionally equivalent where appropriate.
Replacement of an individual component does not restart or extend the original warranty period unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated in writing by Podium 1 Racing or the component manufacturer.
8. Remote and Bench Warranty Service
For an approved Podium 1 Racing warranty claim:
Remote Support
Reasonable remote diagnostic and support labor required to evaluate or resolve the covered warranty claim is included.
Podium 1 Racing Bench Service
When Podium 1 Racing determines that a covered component must be returned to Podium 1 Racing for repair, inspection, or replacement, reasonable bench labor required to perform the covered warranty work is included.
Shipping After the Initial 30-Day Period
After the initial 30-day defect period established in the Podium 1 Racing Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy:
- The customer is responsible for approved shipping costs required to send the affected component to Podium 1 Racing or another designated service location.
- If the claim is confirmed to be covered by this Limited Warranty, Podium 1 Racing will cover reasonable Standard/Ground shipping to return the repaired or replacement component to the customer.
- Expedited shipping requested by the customer is the customer's responsibility unless specifically approved by Podium 1 Racing.
- If inspection determines that the claim is not covered, the customer is responsible for applicable shipping, repair, replacement, and service costs.
Customers must receive return authorization and shipping instructions before sending
equipment to Podium 1 Racing.
9. On-Site Warranty Service, Labor & Travel
On-site service is not included as part of this Limited Warranty unless specifically
authorized in writing by Podium 1 Racing.
A component may qualify for warranty repair or replacement without the cost of sending Podium 1 Racing personnel to the customer's location being covered.
For example, if a motion-platform component qualifies for warranty replacement, the applicable replacement component may be provided under warranty while installation at the customer's location remains the customer's responsibility.
When requested and available, Podium 1 Racing may offer on-site service for installation,
replacement, diagnosis, repair, or other work at the customer's expense.
Costs associated with on-site service may include:
- Technician labor.
- Travel time.
- Airfare or other transportation.
- Lodging.
- Ground transportation.
- Additional personnel where required.
- Special freight or equipment.
- Other reasonable expenses associated with the service visit.
Current rates and applicable charges are established under Podium 1 Racing's On-Site Service & Travel Fee Schedule and may vary based on the location, required work, travel requirements, and circumstances of the visit.
Podium 1 Racing will provide the applicable on-site service quote for customer approval before scheduling a customer-paid warranty service visit.
Podium 1 Racing may, at its sole discretion, elect to provide on-site warranty assistance without charge or at a reduced charge in an individual circumstance. Such an accommodation does not modify this Limited Warranty or create an obligation to provide complimentary on-site service for any current or future warranty claim.

Unless otherwise specifically approved by Podium 1 Racing, this Limited Warranty does not cover failures or damage resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Accidental or intentional physical damage.

11. Commercial Downtime
Warranty coverage provides the applicable repair, replacement, or other remedy for a covered defect.
Podium 1 Racing does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of a commercially operated
simulator and does not provide compensation under this Limited Warranty for lost revenue, lost bookings, lost operating time, business interruption, or other losses resulting from simulator downtime.
12. Original Purchaser and Proof of Purchase
This Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser of the Turnkey Simulator unless
otherwise agreed in writing by Podium 1 Racing.
Podium 1 Racing may require proof of purchase, order information, serial numbers, or other reasonable documentation before processing a warranty claim.
Warranty rights associated with the individual third-party components remain subject to the transferability terms established by their respective manufacturers.
